Tobias Lehmkuhl empfiehlt Peter Cusacks Berliner Field Recordings sowohl Touristen als auch Einheimischen. Beschrieben und mittels Soundfiles nachzuhören sind laut Lehmkuhl Tischtennisspieler an der Panke, Flohmarkthändel in Treptow, der Wind auf dem Teufelsberg und vieles mehr. Sogar wie Schritte sich im Brückengeflecht "äußern" und wie sich die Spree anhört, kann der Rezensent hier erlauschen. So unspektakulär die von Cusack gesammelten Klanglandschaften sind, so intensiv ist mit ihnen die Stadt (neu) zu erleben, findet Lehmkuhl.
