Außer Atem: Das Berlinale Blog 15.02.2011 "Thank to all the terrorists". Mit dieser Texteinblendung endet der vielleicht verstörendste Film des Festivals. Thunska Pansittivorakuls "Terroristen" sind die "Rothemden", eine thailändische Protestbewegung, die sich 2006 formierte, nachdem ein Putsch den populären Präsidenten Thaksin Shinawatra aus dem Land gejagt hatte. Nach den Protesten der "Gelbhemden" (die im Film, und das werden ihm einige sicherlich, vielleicht nicht ganz zu unrecht, vorwerfen, gar nicht auftauchen) brachte ein zweiter Putsch 2008 eine konservative Regierung unter Führung Abhisit Vejjajivas an die Macht. Seither liefern sich die Anhänger Thaksins, die überwiegend den unteren sozialen Schichten Thailands entstammen, erbitterte, aber einseitige Auseinandersetzungen mit Sicherheitskräften und Armee. Um die 2000 Rothemden starben seit 2009, ihre Anführer sitzen längst im Gefängnis. Von
